Big Baby
Why do you seek empathy instead of advice? People come for help, and when solutions are offered to their problems, they respond with:
“Well I read this”
“My friend said”
“Explain to me why I should believe you”
“I don’t know, I’ve never heard of that.”
“Are you sure?”
Then they start blaming doctors, genetics, and get upset that we don’t keep listening to the same song they’ve been singing for years. Eventually, their lives or bodies fall apart, and suddenly they expect “you” to fix everything ASAP. These are what I call “chronic complainers” or “constant complainers.” I ask them, when they complain but refuse to listen to a solution,
“How’s that working for you?”
