Never being satisfied keeps me going. To make a little change is not enough to keep one going for the long haul. Many come in asking for quick fixes and I decline to work with them. Losing 10 lbs for a class reunion doesn’t mean that you look good. It is about lifetime maintenance and repairs. Updating as the years go by. I train a person to a certain point and when they get there, I come to them and reintroduce myself. I do this to make them forget where they came from and start with anew. This will allow them to want more by “starting over”. When you do this the energy reignites and you have a new sense of motivation to go further. If you swim halfway across a lake and turn back, you have covered the same distance if you were to keep going. This is what we did with Charlene. We got halfway then I told her to swim or sink. Either direction she chose would require the same effort. Others told her she was good enough when she went from the first picture to the second. This was a size 14 plus to a size 4. I told her to keep swimming and she went from a 4 to a girl’s size. She chose to keep going thus allowing her body to reach new levels.
FYI, Charlene Ouellet is legally blind and deaf.
Swim in the right direction.
